Effective facilitation is an art as well as a science. An excellent facilitator has the ability to focus on what is best for the business, the team and each member. Knowing when to emphasize one of these three is the secret to successful facilitators. Mr. Fenn has facilitated teams in various industries across the United States and internationally. He has dealt with every conceivable facilitation issue with effective techniques that lead to successful conclusions. He teaches everything he has learned over the last 20+ years in a fun and educational way.

The following sessions are completed in one day or two half days. Each session is customized for the specific needs of the client.

Successful Team Meetings

Describes a five-step process for planning and executing effective meetings and highlights the importance of meeting norms that are agreed to and lived out by all team members. All team members attend this session so everyone hears the same thing and norm agreements can be made during the session.

Facilitation Skills Leading to Successful Meetings

Meetings are an investment of time and money. When meetings are run well, results are usually worthwhile. When meetings are run poorly, results are usually poor. Facilitation techniques are discussed and practiced in the areas of decision making, problem solving, conflict resolution, handling small and large groups, how to structure the meeting room for different purposes, and many others. Leaders will develop their personal meeting tool kit in this session.


Facilitation Services

Mr. Fenn also provides facilitation services for meetings, when needed. He has facilitated senior lead team strategy sessions, community forums, difficult conflict situations where an outside facilitator is called for, etc. He is an excellent resource in upfront planning, agenda preparation, meeting facilitation, and after action review.
