Effective leaders improve performance by providing clear direction, fostering change and continuous improvement, removing barriers, delegating responsibilities, communicating candidly, increasing employee development and by modeling commitment and belief in the capability of the team members.
Effective leaders understand that every interaction with employees is a moment of opportunity. They listen well, communicate clearly, build trust and respect, provide daily coaching and help others reach higher levels of performance. We help leaders to honestly evaluate their strengths and areas of improvement, and then coach them to increase their personal effectiveness and obtain better business results.
The following sessions are completed in one day or two half days. Each session is customized for the specific needs of the client.
This session describes the role of senior executives in a high involvement culture. Senior leaders cannot delegate the accountability for making necessary organizational changes to shift from a high control to a high involvement culture. They have a unique and critical role in the establishment of this culture and its sustainability over time. The senior leaders will develop a design plan detailing a common future state and next steps. During this session, the role of each level of management as well as front-line employees will be explored and defined.
This session describes the role and responsibilities of the team leader on an effective team. The team leader, sometimes called a "facilitator" or "coordinator" in various companies, can make or break a team's effectiveness. New team leader behaviors and responsibilities replace the traditional role of "bosses" in a high control organization. These behaviors and responsibilities are discussed and practiced. Team leaders leave the session with confidence to effectively live out the new role.
This session describes the change process and its impact on management and front-line employees. Leaders will learn how to manage personal and organizational change. They will learn methods and tools to help others deal effectively with resistance and barriers to change. During the session, leaders will develop personal plans to implement with their teams.
